Sigrun Dal - MOD - The Nordic Temple

With limited space on this side of the valley the temple is pretty awkward to access do I had to build loads of stairs to get up there.

This is the view as you cross the bridge.

To the left and right.

I wanted to emphasize the eagle motif again so used the arches to frame the access up the stairs.

This is the view at various heights looking down the stairs towards the bridge.

I need to think about the overall look before deciding if this is the final version of the Temple.

Sigrun Dal - Mod - Bridging the Valley

I have finalized the bridge crossing the water on the valley floor.

Here are some views looking across the bridge towards the finished half of the valley.

From the beginning of the bridge looking towards the Gild mine.

 To the left of the bridge.

 To the right of the bridge the Lumber Mill.

 Further along the bank looking at the architectural features.

Next up the Nordic Temple.

Sigrun Dal - MOD - Aerial Views

I managed to take a few aerial shots which gives some nice views of the valley. As they were taken from within the Creation Kit the colour is not great. The one above is of the entrance to the valley and shows the Guard Tower.

This shot is of the barracks on the right and the ruins on the left lead to the Gold Mine which can be seen in the top left hand corner.

Well I am pretty much done with the placement of the main features on this side of the valley, time to start on the other side.

Sigrun Dal - More Landscaping

 I have been adding lots more trees and bushes to the landscape as well as more features.

In the space in front of the Gold Mine I have added some ruins, meant to represent a ruined barrow. Here are some pictures of different views. I want to reinforce the eagle motif wherever I can.

I have also added some eagle type pillars to the existing arches etc.

More veg gardens to the houses.

These finishing touches never seem to end..lol still haven't got near the other side of the valley or done anything to the actual dwelling exteriors to make them unique.

Have not spent much time these last few days on my MOD but here are some pictures showing additions to the landscape like trees, shrubs, rocks etc etc.

The pictures below are looking from the bottom of the valley towards the entrance.

The pictures below are of the Blacksmith looking in the same direction but standing on the bridge that spans the water which is to the left of the ones above.

The pictures below are of the Blacksmith where I am adding rubble etc to add interest.

 I am not sure yet what to put in the area in front of the Gold Mine.

I have pretty much finished placing all the trees etc and now just need to decide if I like what I see before tackling the other side of the valley.
